| First band practice. While Reading Joseph Conrad's "The Heart of Darkness" Shane sees the word "dolorous" and something rings a bell. Shorting it to "Dolor" then adding a "u" for flair, the band-name is born. |

Dance Annotations EP Session Recorded and Mixed by Doug Tutmarc at Hot Cellar, Seattle, WA These recordings remain unreleased because at the end of this session, drummer Kevin Ondrechek quit, which ended up giving Shane a chance to take the band in a new direction. |
